Session 5 Newsletter

When I printed the newsletter this session I realized that it was a lot darker than the originals but I didn't want to waste them so I handed them out. Heres all of the important info in case you have a hard time reading it.

Dance into the Discount
Session Five dates: April 23 - June 16, 2012. All Session Five tuition paid by Sat. April 28, 2012 will receive a $5 discount!

Summer Sign Up
Registration for Summer Programs, including dance camp, gymnastics camp, karate camp, RAD kids, Circus Arts camp, American Red Cross Swim Lessons,  and weekly classes is on-going. Spots are filling fast so sign up today! Summer session begins June 27th, 2011.

Memorial Day-Mon. May 28th, 2012
We are CLOSED on Memorial Day. Call the front desk to schedule your make-up.

Program Ads
Promote your business or send love to your child in the dance recital program. Half a program sheet (4 1/4 by 5/1/2) is only $10 and half of that is only $6. Forms at front desk starting May 7th, 2012.

Recital Tickets
The recital tickets for this year’s spring performance will be going on sale on May 7th, 2012. Advance tickets are only $12 for Adults and $7 for Children (12 and under) & Seniors (65+). Door prices are $15 for Adults and $10 for Children and Seniors.

Recital Info.
The recital this year will be on Sunday, June 10, 2012 at Weston Auditorium at Fitchburg State University and begins at 1p.
Mandatory FULL dress rehearsal will begin at 5p on Thursday, June 7, 2012. Group and individual pictures will be taken at the rehearsal so full dress & make-up are required. Once the entire class has arrived they will have their group photo done. All dancers are required to be there on time as we will be reviewing the finale dance first. Groups will go on stage during the rehearsal in order by age so that the younger ones can get home earlier. The rehearsal order and recital order will differ for that reason. Recital Seating Raffle
As usual, the recital is general admission seating. However, you could be the lucky winner of reserved seating. You won’t have to wait in a long line or use bags to hold seats because if you win the seats you choose will be reserved for you. Raffle begins May 7th, 2012 and the winner is drawn at the start of the rehearsal on June 7, 2012. Tickets are $1 ea or 6 for $5.

Fall Registration
Registration for Fall 2011 begins June 1, 2012. A non-refundable $30 registration fee will be required to secure your place in a class for the 2012- 2013 year.

Recital Costumes
Recital Costumes will be handed out the week prior to the dress rehearsal. Students and parents are then responsible for the costume and all of its accessories (if any). Please put your child’s name or initials on everything. Students need to wear their full costume, including hair and make-up, to the Mandatory Dress Rehearsal. Make-up and hair requirement hand-outs will be handed out with costumes. If your child is in more than one dance class they should wear the costume for the first dance that they will be rehearsing. A list of the rehearsal order will also be handed out to all students with their costumes.
Class make-ups will be scheduled, posted and submitted to students who will be missing class on Thursday due to the rehearsal. If you cannot make those dates please feel free to schedule your age appropriate make-up with the front desk in either  advance or a gymnastics class.

Rehearsal Info.

The rehearsal will also take place at Weston Auditorium at Fitchburg State University at 160 Pearl St, Fitchburg, Ma.

Recital Dance Photographs/Videography
Recital photographs will be taken at the mandatory dress rehearsal by Christopher Stockman. All students will have their individual and class pictures taken. There is NO OBLIGATION to buy. To look at some of his work check out his website at www.stockmanphotos.com
The recital will be recorded by Ideations and will be available for only $50 on DVD. Forms will be available the 1st week of May.

Last Week of Classes
We are OPEN for our last week of classes from June 11 - 16, 2012. We will then be CLOSED for one week from June 18- 23, 2012 before re-opening for our summer session and camps.
Shout Outs
For only $1 you can have a personalized shout out read for your child or grandchild during the recital. Forms will be available at the front desk on May 7, 2012.

Join us for our Bi-Annual Princess Dance Party on Wed April 18th from 10-12p for ages 2.5-5. There will be basic dance instruction, dance games, a craft, a snack with drink and nail painting. All for $20 per child, current students save $5. Open to the public. All non-students need a parent signed release form. The non-refundable and non-transferable fee must be paid to hold your spot. You MUST pre-register.
